-Man, I FEEL SPECIAL! - Not...
Subject: Fw: Have A Happy Day
-If you really wanted me to have a happy day, you wouldn't send this junk!
The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched.
They must be felt with the heart.
-Hel-LO! Where have you been lately? Under a rock? Of course they're felt with the heart, that's hardly an uncommon fact! Music, for example; and I don't mean that torturous experience of that "Music Box Dancer" midi in the last piece of chain email "Friend-Ship" junk you sent! Well, okay, even it moved the heart - to screaming in pain!
Whispers
The man whispered, "God, speak to me" and a meadowlark sang.
But, the man did not hear.
-*Cut rest of kindergarten age Sunday school tale about how the man cried out and cried out and heard nothing and heard nothing until a butterfly buzzed past and touched him with his wings - yes, you guessed it, God was "whispering" in the form of a butterfly! Which, the man ignored of course. Can't you just hear those sappy violins now?
-LAME!
I found this to be a great reminder that God is always around us in the little and simple things that we take for granted ... even in our electronic age.
-Again, common knowledge!
Do people afflicted with forwarditis really think everybody around them actually gets enlightened by this junk?
-Here in our modern age with the computers and the mp3 players and the dishwashers and all our modern conveniences and internet activity, I do take a lot of time to sit out and enjoy a lot of the little things in nature that God has created. I do not require or want lectures in the form of barely grade school level tales telling me how to think.
So I would like to add one more:
The man cried, "God, I need your help!" And an e-mail arrived reaching out with good news and encouragement.
-Only if it wasn't chain email, but a true email written by a friend, in his or her own words. This means - that this chain email is definitely no message from God reaching out with good news and encouragement!
-Why?
-For starters, it's chain email. Probably made up by some manipulative anti-Christian twit who thought it would be fun getting Christians to forward a very childish story far and wide. Or it could've been meant to please a few kids and ended up spreading like a virus, I don't know. But, it is poorly thought out, poorly written, capable of entrancing only a six-year-old or apparently some adults when forwarditis hits, switching their brains completely off!
But, the man deleted it and continued crying .
-No, the woman received it and ranted about it in her journal to help calm the feeling of making the one who passed it on want to cry!
Don't miss out on a blessing because it isn't packaged the way that you expect.
-Don't expect blessings from chain email! Don't even expect appreciative responses from everybody you send this crud to! I, for one, detest it and dislike intensely seeing my friends and relations getting hoodwinked into passing on this shart without pause and a good long think!
My instructions were to send this to people that I wanted God to bless and I picked you. Won't you please pass this to people you want to be blessed.
-God doesn't bless people via chain email, and you weren't "instructed" you were suckered!
Have A Happy Day!
-No thanks to this blasted chain email, the second one you sent today!
